Scope of Position: The Dining Server 2 assists in creating a positive guest experience through the execution of food and beverage events at WinShape Retreat. This includes establishing an atmosphere of hospitality and operational excellence while meeting the corporate and specific needs of our guests.

 

Reports to: Coordinator, Dining

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup and execution duties as detailed in the WinShape Retreat Beverage and Event Order System (BEO) that includes, but is not limited to, setting dining tables, beverage preparation and break setup and execution outside the Great Hall
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, as instructed, to ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the dining experience at WinShape Retreat
  • Communicate with Food Service staff, as needed, regarding food items to execute breaks outside of the Great Hall
  • Assist with stocking and cleaning of additional self-serve beverage and break areas throughout the Retreat including, but not limited to, the Grand Chalet, the Conference Hall and Logistics
  • Ensure a positive guest dining experience during a guest’s stay at WinShape Retreat
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by Food Service Leadership

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Committed to being present at appropriate times to work – up to 30 hours per week, all shifts, all days.
  • Willing to assist others whenever possible and put the success of the team above self-interest.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Exhibit the following competencies: dependability, team player, job knowledge, initiative, problem solving
