Scope of Position: Design and deliver all summer Events, Skills and recreational activities, creating experiences for campers to have fun, to learn new activities, and to build relationships and trust between campers and summer staff.


Reports to: Event Coordinator, WinShape Camps for Girls




  • Design and develop all activities and events, which incorporate the summer theme and ensure execution of the WinShape Camps Recipe. 
    • CS activities include Skill Breakouts, Color Wars/Color Crews, Free Time, Adventure Sesh, etc.
    • CS events include Spectacular Starting Sunday, Chick-fil-A Friday Family Fun Day, Kick Start, meal time, Worship and Late Nites, etc.
  • Serve on the Summer Leadership Team to execute and evaluate activities and events in order to maintain a level of consistency and excellence in delivery.
  • Supervise summer program staff and evaluate their performance to provide real-time feedback and opportunities for encouragement and growth.
  • Equip summer staff to execute all activities and events with excellence by providing resources and training prior to and during the summer.
  • Submit and monitor budgets to ensure fiscal responsibilities for all areas related to programming.
  • Serve as a member of the Program Function Team to provide experiences that encourage the spiritual growth of campers to become more like Christ in the way they think, believe, and act.
  • Serve on camp-wide work teams as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a ministry or child-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years’ camp ministry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and execute creatively.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational abilities.
  • Requires moving to camp from mid-May through July 31st of each year; 10 – 20% travel during remaining nine months each year.
  • Maintain regular office hours in the WinShape Camps office, Atlanta during August-May.
  • An evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees with the camp’s Statement of Faith and supports the vision, values and philosophies of the camp.



Status: Regular Full-Time, Non- Exempt
