Scope of Position:  Hosts welcome guests upon arrival and lead the execution of all services including hospitality breaks, campfires, meals, and activities.  Hosts serve on the front line with our guests and are a key element in ensuring that we provide operational excellence, 2nd mile service, and emotional connections.  The hosting role plays a critical part in creating an environment for transformation.


Reports to:  Guest Experiences Coordinator


  • Get to know the guest, their event, and their purpose in coming to WinShape
  • Anticipate and meet guest needs to create a remarkable experience from start to finish
  • The host welcomes, engages and coordinates the guest’s experiences
  • Serve as a resource for guests and meets unforeseen needs that arise during the group’s stay
  • Host all hospitality breaks, meetings, team building and leadership training experiences
  • Perform other tasks such as creating the environment, table top center pieces, group gifts, and welcome signs to prepare for guests and ensure the successful operation of the Guest Experiences Team


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed at least two years of college coursework (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport, relate well, handle conflicts, and resolve issues with a variety of personalities
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and work independently and/or with a team, makes quick decisions with confidence, can problem solve with a positive
  • Approximately 10-30 hours a week, depends on occupancy; hours will slow down from mid-May through July.
  • Willing to work daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends
