    Scope: Develops, establishes, and maintains marketing strategies to meet WinShape Camps (WSC) organizational objectives.

     

    Reports to: Director of Support Services, WinShape Camps

    Responsibilities

    • Develop the comprehensive marketing plan for 7 overnight camps, 115 day camp communities, and several overnight weekend events.
    • Manage the WSC marketing team, which includes 3 team members, in the implementation and execution of the plan
    • Ensure camper capacity by developing effective marketing and branding strategies; create brand awareness, and manage the marketing timeline, which consists of over 100 initiatives throughout the year
    • Provide research and development relating to WSC target audience for each camp program
    • Assist the WSC Customer Care Team in managing 1000’s of existing marketing contacts with email strategy and communication
    • Create and manage the $650,000 marketing budget
    • Oversee the content on the WSC website and the 4 social media platforms
    • Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activity and results
    • Work closely with Camp Directors in implementation of marketing strategies
    • Lead and manage the growing WSC Marketing Team

    Qualifications

    • Business or marketing-related degree, or equivalent professional experience
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of proven marketing experience, preferentially with a camp ministry
    • Ability to work independently as a strong team player, without loss of poise, grace or humor under stressful situations in a professional manner
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate ongoing needs and challenges of the organization
    • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Possess excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to provide leadership development for marketing staff
    • Proficiency in project management software
    • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
