    Scope of Position: This position is responsible for the purchase, inventory, and storage of all Food Service products. 


    Reports to: Procurement Specialist, Operations




    • Work to help develop an Inventory Management System for physical assets at the Retreat
    • Assist with the Transformation Process of the Mountain Campus
    • Execute and monitor inventory control measures (cycle counts) to ensure integrity
    • Manage First in, First out (FIFO)
    • Complete end of month inventory on all Food and Paper products
    • Complete quarterly inventory of all Food and Dining Service small wares 
    • Receive Sysco truck shipments, check quality, and store appropriately
    • Monitor the flow of paperwork from Kitchen to Procurement office for timely payment
    • Assist in maintaining storage areas using the 5s system
    • Receive mail and packages from Post Office
    • Assist with movement of furniture
    • Maintain a par level of Housekeeping Supplies
    • Deliver Housekeeping Supplies from storeroom to lodge buildings
    • Make occasional trips to local vendors as needed
    • Maintain Golf Cart appearance by washing golf carts on a monthly basis
    • Assist other departments as needed
    • Additional tasks as assigned by Procurement Specialist


    • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Valid driver’s license required
    • Organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work effectively in an
    • environment with competing demands
    • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
    • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Committed to being present at appropriate times to work – 40-45 hours per week.
