    Scope: This position lead projects from brainstorming to execution relating to certain camp programming, marketing, and staff recruitment. After delegating tasks to various teams, they spend much of their time supervising processes, giving feedback as necessary, and implementing systems to maximize efficiency. It’s their job to make sure that deadlines are followed throughout the project and the final output meets our visual appeal standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage/Create the visual and production plan for 7 overnight camps, 115 day camp communities, Host Rally, Leadership Weekend, Staff Training, and several overnight weekend events.
    • Manage the Creative Services Team, which includes 2 graphic designers, in the development, implementation and execution of the creative plan.
    • Manage WinShape Camps graphics, stage sets, theme drama and thematic material presented on stage to ensure consistency and excellence in visual appeal across camps and all training events.
    • Partner with the marketing team, and each camp team, to ensure brand standards and consistency.
    • Determine and monitor production schedules so that each project is completed well, on time, and within the budget.
    • Serve as an active member of the WinShape Camps Theme Team, thus influencing the direction and focus of each year’s camp theme.
    • Contribute to video projects relating to programming, staff recruitment, and marketing.
    • Determine project content by reviewing and approving art and copy materials developed by staff.
    • Manage each project’s financial and personnel resources needed to be successful.
    • Recruit, hire, orient and train new employees on the creative services team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s of art, graphic design, or equivalent professional experience.
    • Minimum of 5-8 years of proven creative work (in the production and programming area), preferabily with a camp ministry
    • Ability to work independently as a strong team player, without loss of poise, grace or humor under stressful situations in a professional manner
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate ongoing needs and challenges of the organization
    • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Possess excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to provide leadership development for creative services staff
    • Proficiency in project management software
    • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Photoshop, Ilustrator, InDesign, etc.

     

    FSLA Status: Regular, Full-time, Exempt
