Scope of Position: The person in this position will support WinShape Homes’ vision to bring healing and restoration to children and families through the gospel. Specifically, this Manager provides leadership and management of church engagement efforts in Georgia. The Manager will ensure excellent delivery of internal and external communications for WinShape Homes audiences and position WinShape Homes as the premier agency of choice in Georgia. The Manager will execute all activities related to achieving marketing objectives, brand development, and promotions to external groups to increase awareness and the placement of children in its group homes, foster homes, and expansion of clinical and preventative services in Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Works in close partnership with Director, Strategic Partnerships – Homes to oversee, identify, and execute a comprehensive strategy towards marketing, communications and relationship cultivation plans for churches in Georgia   
  • Oversees strategy to acquire new church partnerships in Georgia and manages the logistics of church launches 
  • Develops opportunities for the Strategic Partnership Team to participate in speaking engagements in churches, community groups, and businesses 
  • Works in close partnership with the Director, Strategic Partnerships and Manager of Marketing to develop effective marketing strategies for churches in Georgia  
  • Works in close partnership with Coordinator, Care Communities to provide continuity of care for the development of foster care ministries within Georgia churches.  
  • Plans and implements special events and relationships with community partners to expand scope of collaboration in Georgia 
  • Initiates and maintains ongoing contact with ministry partners in Georgia 
  • Builds and maintains a database of contacts  
  • Continuously track and maintain records of all activities with church and community partners. 
  • Provides continuous research, demographics and culture in order to systematically determine the best partner prospects for cultivation and solicitation 

 

Qualifications

Spiritual: 

  • A self-professing Christ-follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis 
  • Exemplifies servant leadership as modeled by Jesus Christ 

Professional: 

  • Must have 4 - 6 years of work experience in church engagement and ministry, communications, and relationship cultivation 
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree, or related experience in foster care or church ministry  
  • Experience with the Salesforce CMS platform preferred 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. 
  • Ability to travel throughout Georgia and other states as needed. Most travel is done during business hours; however, some overnight travel is required. 
  • Ability to contribute to the development and execute strategic plans for church and community partners to engage in partnership with WinShape Homes.  
  • Ability to take responsibility to administer a creative and comprehensive Engagement plan.  
  • Ability to see the big picture and to bring those concepts to the engagement process and communicate it clearly to our constituents.  
  • Willingness to speak and represent WinShape Homes at churches, businesses, and other community events on nights and weekends.  
  • Good organizational skills and management. 
  • Exceptional professionalism and the ability to interact at all levels within the organization 
  • Excellent skills relating to and leading people from all walks of life. 
  • Experience in working with church, para-church, ministry, non-profit organizations. 
  • Demonstrates competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with project platforms, Ex., Asana, preferred 
  • Demonstrates the ability to anticipate needs and challenges, and takes the initiative to effect change with minimal direction 
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment 
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal skills
