Coordinator, Host Development

Scope of Position: Collaborate with the Host Development team to equip day camp host churches, Chick-fil-A’s, and their local Leadership Teams to maximize the impact of camp in their communities. Communicate frequently with host churches and their leadership teams to ensure an excellent experience bringing WinShape Camps to their community.

• Assist in setting the direction of WinShape Camps for Communities as it relates to future growth regions and new host locations.  

• Support the Host Development team in their mission to equip camp hosts to bring camp to their community.  

• Assist in planning and executing corporate and individual training events for Church Hosts.  

• Partners with WinShape Camps Marketing team to help hosts promote camp in their community.  

• Executes communication strategy for church hosts around the country. 

• Assist in managing church host retention to ensure the healthiest church partners each year. 

• Works with local Chick-fil-A operators to help bring camp to their community. 

• Serves as a member of assigned work team(s) as needed. 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 

• Knowledgeable of both the church and the business world in order to help them partner together. 

• Served one or more years with WinShape Camps Summer Staff preferred but not required. 

• Strong communication and relational skills. 

• Experience in project management. 

• Demonstrates skills in written and verbal communication, time management, training facilitation, and goal setting. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. 

• Willing to engage in moderate travel (20-30%) throughout the year and heavy travel (50-60%) in the summer. 

• Maintain regular office hours at the WinShape Camps office in Atlanta or Rome. 

• A self-professing Christ-follower, actively involved in a Christian faith community and actively pursuing Christ on a consistent basis. 

• Must hold or obtain a valid driver’s license for the state in which they are hired and have an acceptable driving record.
